What is an Adult Family Home?
An Adult Family Home (AFH) is a residential home licensed to provide care for up to six adults. It offers a more intimate, family-like setting compared to larger assisted living facilities, allowing for highly personalized attention and 24/7 supervision.
What levels of care do you provide?
We provide a wide range of services including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing and dressing, medication management, memory care for those with dementia or Alzheimer's, and specialized care for chronic conditions like stroke recovery or diabetes.
Is there professional medical oversight?
Yes, KENBE Adult Family Home is nurse-led with RN oversight. We work closely with our residents' primary physicians and have trained staff available 24/7 to monitor health status and manage medications.
What are your visiting hours?
We welcome family and friends to visit their loved ones daily. Our standard visiting hours are from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, though we can accommodate special requests for visits outside these times.
Do you provide meals and special diets?
Absolutely. We provide three nutritious, home-cooked meals daily, plus healthy snacks. We also cater to specific dietary requirements, including diabetic-friendly, low-sodium, and soft-food diets as prescribed by medical professionals.
How do I start the admission process?
The process begins with a tour of our home and a preliminary assessment of the prospective resident's needs. Once we determine that we can provide the appropriate level of care, we'll guide you through the required state documentation and medical evaluations.
